Welcome to my website!
Born and brought up in Fife, Scotland , I am a classically trained soprano now living in Westchester County, New York, with twenty years of combined experience in vocal performance, voice and piano teaching and opera management.
I began my musical training at a young age and have earned degrees in classical singing from the Royal College of Music, Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and the Peabody Institute. As a performer I have sung over 15 lead opera roles in both the US and UK and have performed as soloist at such venues as Trinity Wall Street, The Chautauqua Institute, The National Cathedral in Washington DC, Capitol Hill, St. John Smith Square in London and the Royal Scottish Concert Hall in Glasgow.
With my background and knowledge, I have a unique understanding of the voice that can help aspiring singers improve their instrument and help them learn the fundamental art of vocal interpretation and how to best utilize it. Whether you are a singer at the beginning of a career, or just out to improve your voice, my teaching is geared towards refining your craft to help meet your individual goals.
I invite you to look through my pages where you will find my full biography and the services I offer. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
